Rafting on the river Verkhnyaya Angara
from Dzelinda hot springs to Lake Baikal.
1 d. - you go in a car about 2 hours. After swimming in hot
springs in Dzelinda you begin rafting.
2-3 d. - you reach the village Verkhnayaya Zaimka.
4-5 d. - you reach the Yarki Island.
6 d. - you reach the life-saving station of Nizhneangarsk
settlement,
here you phone on the telephone: 21560 or 3-6229 for
help
in a car to fetch for Severobaikalsk.
Notes:
1. You may be the the whole family (take your children or
mother and
father).
2. You shall follow your route on the map in Russian
"Pribaikalye",
it is a book of maps; scale in 1 sm - 2 km.

3. It is possible to make tour on kayak-paddling from Dzelinda
river, rafting distance is about 95 km.
You may be alone or two on 2-seat kayak "Taymen-2", you
may be 4 or 5 on 2-seat kayak "Taymen" and 3-seat kayak
"Taymen-3"; you can take 4-seat catamaran or two 6-seat
catamarans.
You shall have a life-belt.

I recommend for defence from mosquitos to use protect gauze.
Also it is absolutely necessary to follow instructions
of
Patricia Ormsby (Japan) to protect you from bites of tic; see
her
article on encephalitis.

1 July, 10 July, 20 July, 1 August.
Groups on kayaks: 1 pax, 2 pax, 3 pax, 4 pax, 5 pax.
Price per person: $305, $167, $121, $167, $140
Groups on
catamarans: 4 pax, 5 pax, 6 pax.
Price per person: $116, $122, $107
Prices include all services: transportation, commission
for tour operator and travel agency.
Prices don't include your personal gear: tents, rugs,
sleeping bags, bedding.
Also you prepare your food; it is good to have your own
gas-stove and gas-cylinder (or benzine stove and benzine),
and kitchen utensils. You also to have a fishing-tackle if
you are fisherman!
