Severobaikalsk - River Kabanya by a boat or motorboat
(110 km), paddling 9 days on kayak from river Kabanya
till Nizheangarsk (170); to Severobaikalsk by a car.
1 d. - move on the river Kabanya by boat or motorboat to river
Kabanya
(about 110 km by sea).
2 d. - you reach the brook (6 km from hut in river Kabanya,
then you
hike to the lake "Losinaya", about 4 km; see the map 12
in
"Pribaikalie" album).
3 d. - you reach the river "Urbikan", hut is shown on the map;
18 km.
4 d. - you reach the river Shegnanda, there is farm of
Strogovs; there
you can ask for additional payment to prepare Russian
Bath,
there also you can buy a fresh milk! 22 km.
5 d. - you reach meteorological station Tompa, 2 houses; 22 km.
6 d. - you reach sanatorium Khakusy (hot springs), you can
swim here
for additional payment; 25 km.
7 d. - you reach the Ayaya Bay, here you can go for hike to the
Frolikha Lake (it is about 9 km one way); 20 km by
water.
8 d. - you reach the Cape Erekmakan, 18 km.
9 d. - you reach the huts near the channel Angarakanchik, 18
km.
10 d. - you reach the life-saving station of Nizhneangarsk
settlement,
here you phone on the telephone: 21560 or 3-6229 for
help
in a car to fetch for Severobaikalsk. 20 km.
Notes:
1. You may be the the whole family (take your children or
mother and
father). You can paddle from 1 day till 9 day!
2. You shall follow your route on the map in Russian album of
maps
around lake Baikal: "Pribaikalie", scale in one sm two km.
You can get this album from me.
It is possible to make tours on kayak-paddling from Cape
Elohin to Baikalskoe village. You may be alone or two on
2-seat
kayak "Taymen-2", you may be 4 or 5 on 2-seat kayak "Taymen"
and 3-seat kayak "Taymen-3".
You shall have a life-belt.
3. You are to have your personal gear: tents, rugs, sleeping
bags, bedding.

I recommend for defence from mosquitos to use protect gauze.
Also it is absolutely necessary to follow instructions

Prices don't include your personal gear: tents, rugs,
sleeping bags, bedding.
Also you prepare your food; it is good to have your own
gas-stove and gas-cylinder (or benzine stove and benzine),
and kitchen utensils. You also to have a fishing-tackle if
you are fisherman!
5. I am looking for cheap travel trips in Lake Baikal in order
to increase number of clients; you could order the trip of
any length (days)!
Danger!
You always keep close to the shore when you paddle (you move
from the shore at a distance of 10 meters); if there would
be sudden wind - you must have enough time to drag the kayak
on the shore!
